Learning Agile Is a Practice

A newly trained student of Agile will follow the process to the letter, trying to do all forms of the practice. You need to give yourself permission to suck at it and make mistakes. Your place in the world and an organization, what can you control. Through Agile, you learn to make calculated risks and experiment into products

As Agile Coaches, we teach the theory of Agile through the Agile Principles and Manifesto. These principles guide how we coach teams and individuals

  • What good facilitation means

  • Meeting teams groups and organizations where they are at.

  • Having a guide to bring you through it or to refresh what you’ve learned in the past.

Practicing either of these disciplines is about progression and depth of the work.

The fundamental idea here is that when teaching a concept, you have to tailor the style of teaching to where the learner is in their understanding and that progression follows a common pattern. Early stages of learning focus on concrete steps to imitate, the focus then shifts to understanding principles and finally into self-directed innovation.
